Wine Recommendations For June 2010; Armchair Traveling!

The wine recommendations for June 2010 come from various countries, continents, and hemispheres! If we can't actually visit these beautiful places, we can still gain some understanding of them from their wonderful wines. Its like having plane tickets to the great wine regions of the world.

If we can't travel to South Africa for the World Cup, we can toast with a Sauvignon Blanc. If Sonoma County is out this summer, there is always a glass of Chardonnay to console us.

With a glass of wine and an atlas we can enjoy a "vacation" without jet lag and airport hassles. If you want to be even more adventurous, why not pair a glass of one of these wines with a dish from that particular region! Now that would make the experience even better.

Jim Barry Cabernet Sauvignon Coonawarra The Cover Drive 2008. Herbal notes; add some cherry and berries and you have a winer. Score of 89, $17.00 USD. Australia
